URGENT - PLEASE READ
This is a special request from the 2010 Rally Committee who require YOUR help.
PHOTO CALL
With the next Mercedes-Benz National Rally set to take place in Perth, the organizing committee is putting together a promotional DVD designed to attract interstate participants.
To this end, the committee Chairman Paul Blank is putting out a call to all members to bring out their Mercedes-Benz and smart cars for filming THIS SUNDAY (24th August) at 10am.
We will meet at Parliament Place in West Perth and then drive into Kings Park for filming at couple of locations there. After that the aim will be to drive down to Cottesloe Beach to film the cars there. We will need a range of moving and static shots of cars. Most important though, is that we have a big range of models there. In particular we need to get some of the pre-1970s cars along, because we can be sure of getting a good range of later cars. If you only have a later car, we still need you to bring it along please – the more cars the better. And they don’t have to be show-cars.
The whole shoot should only take about 2 hours, and we can have a coffee or lunch in Cottesloe afterwards.
The National Rally celebrates the 50th anniversary of our club, and will be the most significant event our club’s history. It is important that we get a big turnout of cars on Sunday so the promotional DVD can have the highest impact possible.
