Front upper&lower control arm/suspension bushes.

Post by newMercowner69 »

I notice that each&every time i go over speed humps or,
Do a slight turn i can hear my bushes creak,
Are they designed/made to be greased?,
&If so how often (km's),
Or do you just replace them?,
I've only ever had the rear control arm suspension bushes replaced,
Could the creak be dampeners/shock absorbers or ball joints?,
I've had the fronts (ball joints)previously replaced but never the rear ones.

I replaced my W202 front control arms bushes when they become noisy.
I removed the arms, sourced some new bushings and a local MB Independent pressed the new ones in for me cost $40.
The hard bit is getting the control arms off and on if you don't have the spring compressor.
It's DYIable.if you have the right tools.
