A few friends and I from the NSW club drove down to the Victorian event this year. It was excellent and we all really enjoyed ourselves.

I wasn't going to take time off work to drive on motorways, so we took the scenic route there and back:

It was a nice contrast of landscapes - on the way down, we took the alpine roads (as alpine as things get in Australia) and then on the way back, we took an inland route that is more outback. Not quite as outback as last years tour via Broken Hill though.

going on a tour in a classic car is a great way of seeing the country.

Was great to host the guys for lunch at work. The blue SEC is Bryce's car.

Was a great trip - can confirm. Great roads, great cars, made even better with great company. I managed to snap my handbrake cable in my w108 leaving my house on the first morning, but otherwise never needed to touch fluids or anything else.
