Negative Camber on Rear LH Wheel

The wagon that does the most work around here has very bad negative camber, wearing the inner tread on the wheel badly. Struts (and rest of SLS) are working as expected.

Spring Pad worn ?
Adjustable ?

Any ideas ?

There is no adjustment. First up I would be getting a wheel alignment reading, to check if it is camber or tow that is causing the wear. You can check camber yourself with a plumb bob and ruler.

Also something a wheel aligner suggested to me, you can get these magnetic digital angle sensors quite cheap off ebay.

Same as W116? Assuming arm isn't bent, if the swing arm bushes were worn, this could have that affect. You can buy a kmac kit for W126 (possibly 123), which has those bushes replaced with ecentric bushes that will give you that adjustment. but if one of your rubber bushes is collapsed or worn, it could have the same effect. Those bushes from memory are pretty cheap for standard rubber, but the kmac ones expensive. If you lower a car kmac produced them so you could dial the negative camber back out of it.

And Tim, working out timing but doing a lap through Canberra and Melbourne in the not too distant future. Was planning to do ACT concourse get together in couple of weeks but an opportunity to do the collingrove hillclimb with the boys at a scout event and will make it a good first event there for them - lots of runs and lower pressure. My youngest gets his L's on 2/12 and he is dead keen to share some driving and do the trip, but otherwise it might be during a week in October.

and will have empty car coming over if any wants anything transported.

If it is at an obvious camber angle, you don't need wheel alignment. That's just confirming what you already knew.

Have you jacked it up and checked the wheel bearing? I have seen wheel bearings so worn the wheel was in a 10 degree angle....

Otherwise the swingarm bushes might be gone, or the swingarm bent (as stated before)
