Air Conditioning Evaporator w202 c36

Hi All
I need to replace the Air Conditioning Evaporator unit under the dash on my w202 c36 , does any one know of a good place in Adelaide or Geelong that could do this job or in between .

If you look up Highgate air conditioning, the guy who did my car went on their site on his phone and listed all the parts for different models - price was good. They are in Adelaide but maybe other places. Then could get parts freighted down to you and get someone local to do. I know of one guy in Adelaide, very good, but 3 weeks later still waiting for him to come back with the part and finish the job. Great guy though and really knows his stuff, but that puts him in really high demand. I would have thought its a simple job that a local to you could do. Mt Gambier have a pretty strong general car club down there don't they? A call to a contact number might help find a local that knows his stuff.

Thanks for reply, I have rung Highgate all good on the parts side. Most of my problem is the the complete dash, center consul has to come out not something I am looking forward to. Have you got his phone number?

Its Ezychill - Sascha Henrichs 0405221313 - he lives at Coromandel Valley but his operation is totally mobile. It was about 6 months ago I asked him to return and regas/trouble shoot my SEC, SEL, Landrover defender and mondial...... got him here about 3 weeks ago with the information that the wife was going to kill me if i didn't fix the a'c in her car... but hasn't been back with parts. And he is a super nice, super knowledgeable and seems super organised - just too much in demand I think and when you have big businesses servicing new exotic cars as you main regular customers, you have to put priority on the jobs. I'm hoping when things cool down a bit into winter I will put a bit more pressure on then.

Maybe he has contacts closer to you that he knows? Surely all the Mt. Gambier people don't come all this way to Adelaide for a regas - must be someone that cares down there and can do a good job?

Taken it back to my AC guy and he but the gauges on it to see if it still had gas still has pressure checking a few things found no power to ac compressor still looking

No power to compressor sounds more like climate control/ switches etc - maybe fues or relay related - I don't know your car or system. Good luck, hopefully its simple
