Hi All,another issue with the coupe,the fuel gauge stopped working,after going through some checks i found the problem is the Sending Unit in the tank
as the new one is over $400 can the old one be repaired?
maybe mr Green has the answer,he usually does

Hi, this is Mr Blue,
you can take the sender apart, but you have to very careful to NOT damage the thin resistance wires. Here's a detailed report with photos. It's in German, but the photos should tell you everything:

will have a go at it on the weekend,I also noticed the that the actual plug is not there(like the pictures)just the bottom plastic bit with three wires going out
looks like some bodji job.will have to deal with that to
Had a go at replacing rear bushes .took me 2 days and only after my brother told me to burn them out with oxy(i'll still be looking for a press) thouse rear arms are bastards to take off but saved $900 (the cheapest quote I got )
