Experience with my W212 wagon

Here's my W212 wagon.

So. I bought it from a Mercedes Stealership in Brisbane 55K's on the clock - 2010 model E350 (NO stop start)
Because it was always serviced at a MB stealership and sold by one, I have extended warranty - From MB Oz.
Drives like a new car. Looks like a new car.

So it sat in the garage for a week and the arse sunk. - Too the haunches.
When I went too start it the battery was down to 11.4volts. A note came up. Wait until airmatic is stabilized.
Earlier I had heard a Hiss from the back of the car :pale:

here's an image after the car had been parked for a few days

It was dropping a centimeter a night.

Took it to my local Melbourne Stealership - who I've had a relationship for over 30 years.

They booked it in and checked it out with Xentry

It turns out that in very cold weather the airbags can drop up to 12mm per night. (The air in the airbag contracts)
We have had some very cold weather in the last few weeks - down to minus temperatures. ( I was in central Victoria last week - the morning temperature -5.5 degrees :confused2: )

So according to MB specs. in cold weather airmatic suspension can drop 12 mm - that's normal.

Stealership had the car for a couple of days to check it out.

No charge. Plus they updated the Command :salute: :toothy4:
