Hi all, W116 280SEL 1980 here. Silver over Blue. Has anyone had any experience with re-carpeting, either done by professionals, using a D.I.Y moulded set etc ?
Geelong Victoria here. Any experiences, costs advice would be great

if you google new world upholstery and German auto tops (something like that) you can see what sort of money the proper material ones are, but of course exchange rates etc. Others my have local suggestions. Main thing to think about is the original carpets are very high quality. Local carpets are unlikely to be as good or look the same. But that all comes down to what your aim is for the car and how you want it to be and budget of course.
