cruise control query

Fella's will the cruise control off a 1978 W116 M110 work on a '75 W116 450SEL. I have access to one thats being dicarded and been told to remove anything useful to me. So far I have the mirrors and tail light units. Interior is rs so nix there.

I have taken W116 and W123 cruise controls and used on the diesels so can't see why not. Not sure about the W116 but on a W123

- Speedo sensor - fits to back of speedo
- Overlay loom - Runs between brake pedal, control unit, speedo, into engine bay to actuator (on W123 you need to remove the dash pad to pull it out as it is zipped strapped onto the loom)
- Vacuum pipes to actuator
- Indicator switch with cruise piggy back stalk

The only issue may be how the actuator controls the accelerator - IIRC, the M110 uses a long cable to the accelerator so you should be good
