W123 Diesel Wagon - Auto Problem Solved!!!

Post by michaelc » Mon 13 May, 2019 5:20 pm

Hi

FYI:

I stopped to go into a shop and my diesel wagon would not stop when I turned the key

Finding the cut of switch on the fuel I killed the motor

Driving home the motor would not shift from 2nd

During a careful examination of the vacuum leads I found that the pipe to the ignition had fallen off

One it was reinstalled everything was happiness again!!!

Oh Joy!!!
Many Thanks

Michaelc

yep, how nice is it to be able to pull over and take a quick look, see a disconnected line, reconnect it and all is well.

Rather than a modern car when a computer goes !@#$%^ and you need a tow truck...
