Comparison of A Class & B Class

Post by nvrau » Tue 06 Nov, 2018 5:39 pm

Anyone familiar with the reasons behind MB making B Class? The early years essentially mimics the A Class, as far as I can tell.

Selling more cars on the same platform (therefor saving money)

The quality was considered piss poor and unlike contemporary Mercedes.
Especially the rear suspension was a horrible design...

Is B Class still this way? How was the B Class' suspension so bad?

Not sure about the B class, but if they just copied the A-class suspension it's not much good.

Have a read here:

Ahhh, gotcha... I thought you were giving feedback on B Class. I've owned an A Class and really liked it.

I'm looking for input on the difference in B Class outside of a perceived profit increase for reuse of chassis?

The reason I ask is I am interested in one.
