OBDII location in ML320

Post by Dweezil » Tue 11 Sep, 2018 9:53 am

Hi Team,

everyone's 'transitioning' these days, so I thought I'd transition into a North Shore soccer mum by buying an ML320.

In the first of dozens of newb questions, can anyone tell me where the OBDII port lives? Have looked under the dash in in the engine bay and have seen nowt.

Thanks

Dweezil

What year ML?

I suspect pre 2001 update - no OBDII port.

If pre 2001 there will be a 32 point round plug under the bonnet somewhere. You need a Mercedes Specific scanner to read the codes from these
W211 - E240
W204 - C280
Departed
W202 - C200, C180, C180
W126 - 380SE , 380SE (Ex SA Import), 560SEL
W124 - 300e, 260e (ex Japan)
W111 220s (Indonesia) 4 speed manual column shift
W123 230
W116 450SEL
W140 420SEL
W210 E240, E240
W209 CLK 240
W201 190e 2.6 (ex U.K.)

Thanks, Ivan.

Yeah, it's a 2000.

Ah, yes, finally got down on my hand and knees and found it. Thanks.

Wi-fi connector didn't create a network for the phone app to find, so I'm kind of back to square one.
