FUEL FILLER DOOR

Post by Jelfes » Mon 27 Aug, 2018 3:25 am

Does anyone know how to manually open the the Fuel Filler Door from the boot on a 1985 Series 1 190E?
It normally unlocks with the door central locking vacuum system and you push it open. Its not opening at the moment and I'm running low on fuel.

Hey
If you open the boot to can reach the actuator and there is a release rod you pull towards the back of the car.
Hope this helps

You generally need to remove the boot lining to get at the actuator or at least move it out of the way.
