Re: How do LynFox's cars get to be be so nice?
I visited the collection a few years ago and was talking to one of the volunteers about the Porsche 550 Spyder he had there, they were of the understanding that most of the cars had been restored by the TAFE collage next door.Mercmad wrote:one of my Customers has a connection with the boss man and has spoken of the magic carried out in what is known as the skunk works in Melbourne . Theres over 500 cars stored and being worked on. I doubt the TAFE would have the capacity or would want to get involved or would anyone trust trainees with a 2 million dollar car. ... I have never been to the buildings where they are kept but seen plenty of pictures . Jay leno has nothing on this collection .What you see in the Mint building is a tiny selection of the cars both old and new ,For example, the car they won a prize with recently in Melbourne, a Bentley , is Just one of several of the same model he has .

Now that I am no longer employed by 'the family' and built them a new Aircraft Hangar & Car Workshop to replace the one seen in the video, all I can say is......wow...I watched numerous 300SL's, a beautiful 450SEL 6.9 (shown to the public at the MBCV Concours this year), not to mention the 2 x McLaren Stirling Moss editions (of only 70-75 built) arriving in March 2017 with a Ferrari Enzo and Ford GT40.
The Bentley won an award at 2015 Motorclassica and is indeed as beautiful underneath as 'on-a-top'
Great cars and great passion, which I truely admire
