Calling all owners of German vehicles in WA!

Following the damp September weather of previous German Car Days, the MBCCWA committee has decided to hold the event on Sunday 22nd March 2015.

As in previous years, all attendees are to meet at 9:00am at the Queens Gardens Car Park, on the corner of Plain Street and Nelson Crescent, East Perth.

A $10 entry fee per car will be collected, with all proceeds going to the Wheels for Hope charity.

Participants will receive special route instructions and depart at 9:30am for the final destination.

This year we will be heading to the Village Green in the township of Chidlow, where all vehicles will be invited to participate in our German car display.

An authentic German theme is also planned, with Enricos German Bratwurst serving delicious bratwurst hotdogs, sauerkraut and other goodies, plus German music and freshly made coffee from Cappuccino Xpress available in the grounds.

Local businesses, including The Chidlow Inn Tavern and The Bay Tree Bakery and Café, will also be getting in on the action, with a range of Bavarian-themed meals and treats available nearby.

A family friendly event, this year's German Car Day will be one to remember!

Just a quick update for tomorrow (now that it is not a wet miserable day i will be going to this one after dropping out of the last 2)

It just so happens the push bike brigade are having their fun tomorrow as well and the Freeway into the city from both south & north directions will be blocked off from 5am to 10am so just be aware you will have to come in from a different route and allow more time to get to the Plain St Car Park by 9.am (at the latest)

Mike over in Dkubus in Adelaide has kindly rushed my order for the FrankenCIS and the (PLug & PLay) Kit turned up in the overnight post late yesterday.
I will not have enough time to get this Kit installed as it requires me pulling one side of my Tri-Y downpipes and getting an 02 M18 bung tapped and welded in to be able to install the Bosch wideband 02 sensor. And it requires me a day to do the instal smoothly and have it all tucked in looking very factory, so you would not even know it was there
I now have the TunerStudio MS Software program installed on my PC and also the DK8Microsqirt FrankenDPR software that has now been imported into that program for this specific product.
This is a pretty impressive development/product i must say for our Bosch K-Jet & KE-Jet systems
I will bring along the Kit to show and talk about it if anyone wishes to see it in the flesh before it gets installed in the coming weeks

My wife has given me a list of duties for today (damn) as she is working until mid arvo - that list includes buying and preparing a nice meal for tonight (to get some brownie points)
and her Subi 3ltr Outback as just split 2 inner CV boots and spewed CV grease (right next to the CATS - lots of heat in that area- bad design) and i have to sort that out if possible today - arrghhh!!!

Need to find some today time to wash the white coupe and make it look a bit presentable - (still got the Lorinser rear bumper on that i was mucking around with - mis-match) oh well maybe next year it will be sorted properly
