MBCCWA New Member Breakfast 2015

Post by Giles »

I took Nelson to Perth for the New Members Breakfast this morning.

A big turnout of nearly 50 cars and 100 odd people. A huge success and congrats to the Committee of the MBCCWA.

Hey Giles i could have made it to that one - looked like fun and i was out cruising sunday morning down west coast drive ( i must pay more attention to their calender)
Will be up for the Club meet in March though
Kings Park is a perfect spot to do a Sunday morning cars and coffee meet on an informal basis into the future if some guys are interested now the worst of the real hot weather has past us.
Two club members live near me including an identical white coupe to mine

Thanks Kim, informal meetings are a great idea. Maybe generational specific emphasis. Like pre 1990 (oldies) on one Sunday and post 1990 (newies) on another. Coffee and a chat about similar vehicles plus meeting new and interesting people would be GREAT. How frequent? Monthly? Every couple of months? Watcha reckon ? Would you come along? Yes/NO.

I only attend the informal meetings with the MBCCWA.

Perth is a bit of hke for regular meetings for me as I travel also for other family events.

For the small cost of joing the Club it gives me the choice of what I want to attend and enjoy the priviledge of what they organise. There's lots of young blood on the commitee now and a range of personalities, it's not just tea, scones and sherry sipping any longer.

The German Car Day is set down for 22nd of March, if anyone wants to catch up there I'd be more than happy to. I beleive Chidlow will be the desination.
