QLD Concours 2013

The Mercedes-Benz Club of Queensland's annual Concours d'Elegance will be held at Ormiston house (Wellington Street, Ormiston, Brisbane) on 11 August 2013. This is a great day to admire some exceptionally maintained Mercedes-Benz vehicles from all eras of the marques history.

Entry to Ormiston House is $5 per person and in addition to the Concours d'Elegance is the opportunity to walk back in time through the historic homestead and picture what life was like in early Queensland. On the veranda you can indulge in Devonshire Tea prepared by the volunteers of Ormiston House. The Volunteer Rescue Team will be on hand with a barbeque and drinks or you can bring your own picnic lunch.

The Mercedes-Benz Club of Queensland was formed in 1971. There are many members with classic and vintage models in the club but many members also drive modern Mercedes-Benz models from across the range. The club meets every month and organises motoring runs throughout South-East Queensland, as well as visits to places of interest. Some benefits of membership include subscription to the full colour magazine "Super Star" with the latest news from Daimler AG, articles on members' cars, projects, travel experiences and for sale and wanted section. Also included is access to the Club Library, formal inspection and verification services for Special Interest Vehicle Registration, and discounts on Mercedes-Benz products and servicing.
