MB club of Vic/ Tas

Ok, I went to the MB concours at Flemington on Sunday and it was great. Was talking to the MB club (they seem like a nice bunch and were very helpful) about joining and the benefits that I may be able to get being in Tassie.
Question - are there any people on here who are members of the Vic MB club and live in Tassie?

Over the years there have been quite a few MBCV members on tyhe Forum. One that comes to mind is Des who dropped off the scene a few years back. We even hadan OZBENZ dinner at a Pub in Launseston (yes i know I spelt that wrong) once that I attended.

What I am thinking is joining the MBVC club and trying to organise some Tassie members in some sort of get together, or maybe form something from this forum? And it would great if there was get together of members from Ozbenz and/ or MBVC down here in Tassie.
There is nothing in Tassie for MB enthusiasts at the moment, leaving this forum as my only contact.... :think:
