w210 2005 e200k handbooks

Post by BobL »

I have just bought a 2005 imported from UK, it has no manuals and the ones I have located on line are the american versions.
Has anyone any ideas where one may be available.According to my phone it has a bruetooth device but I am not sure whether that is for servicing purposes or the phone is inbuilt with that model.Either way I do not have any idea how to get the password.Any help would be appreciated

Are you sure your car is 2005? W210's were already superseded by then by a few years.

The book you are talking about is a tome - at least 2cm's thick. - 75% of the text is political correct warnings

Hi Bob,

2005 is a W211; if there is a command system, it should have bluetooth. Open the arm rest box (hope, that's the right name?) and see if there's a phone adapter built-in. Otherwise press "Tel" on the command system and you should be able to connect a bluetooth phone.

Best regards
Thomas

Thomas
Their is what appears to be a phone point or adapter, but I am not sure what phone it suits, and when I turn on my bluetooth it says their is something in the car , but I am not sure how to enter a password
