MBCV Concours d'Elegance- so who's going?

Post by markb »

The Annual Flemington Event, which I still think of as the "British & European Car Show"...now known as the 'RACV Classic Showcase' is on again this Sunday April 3, 2011 and for anyone who doesn't know..includes the Mercedes Benz Club of Vic. Concours d'Elegance.

Well I plan to go, despite it being the 3rd 'car event' weekend in a row !!! :bounce:

Drop a line those who are going along???

Not me, as I are typing this sitting in the Royal Silk Lounge at the Bangkok Airport. Are off to Germany to attend TechnoClassica and then visit some of our suppliers.

Anyone want me to bring something back? :book:

I are however sure this will be a great event as usual and would reccomend it to anyone thinking of going.

Sorry Mark,

Was talking to Andrew last night about missing events like this...

I'm sitting in Q club @ tulla and thinking my travel schedule to melbourne has been messed up completely. Should have come doen next week, but as it turns out I'm heading back to sydney today :(

It would have been nice to be able to come.

PLease post pics on the forum if you go.... We don't get enough pics from events like this. It'd be nice if forum members could reel off a few shots for the rest of us so we can see what we missed out on

Have a great time!

9am gates open. Entry is $15 per car.

Don't walk in ... drive in with your family in the MB as it's cheaper this way. You can park among all the MBs and you don't have to be a member to join in.

Beat the queue and enter through the gate reserved for the MBs. It's the northern gate and there should be signs ... the people manning the gates will also help direct you to the correct road.

Theme this year is "60 anniversary of 300 sedans" so expect lots of Adaneaurs ... and 600 ... and SLs ... and Fintails ... etc.

Sorry I missed you. Was busy collating the Concours judging results.
Thanks for the photo you took of my car.
