Anzac day cruise - Perth (anyone??)

Post by SCHMICK »

Hi all,

I was reading the local rag the other day and noticed that there is a Camaro cruise day and a Ford cruise day planned for this Anzac day??
Why not a Mercedes get together, cruise/BBQ something like that??? all clubs, all models, new faces and new stories and get to see everyones pride and joy???

Anyways probably a million reasons why not but just thought i would throw it out there and see the reaction???

Cheers

Be a typical response to motoring events in WA-if it wasn't for a few good journos nothing would be published-football & cricket are the only sports

I think Schmick meant more like a Coffee run than a major event though they should be supported as well.
Many clubs - BMW, VW, Kombi Konnection, Aussie Frogs have runs to places like York and Toodyay which have great facilities as well as interesting motoring attractions.

I have organised a couple and it is great to see a lineup of similar cars in the street or parks as well as the effect of a convoy.
The attraction of this type of event adds to both participants and public knowledge.

Missed all of that, but I'd be happy to go for an easy drive around the place and get some technical chitchat going on the beauty old Benz.

Any drives recommended? Any times? I work shift, so depending on the roster, weekdays or weekends.
