W140 needed Concours 10/8/14

Hi Guys,

The MB Club Qld needs a W140 to display at Concours at Ormiston, Brisbane this Sunday 10/8/14. We had a member with one attending but he has cancelled and there are no others coming, or known of in the club.

If you have a W140 in Brisbane, it is a great day, please let me know if you are interested in bringing it along to display for us.

Also, if you have a W140 for sale, it will be centre stage at the show and you can put a for sale sign in the window and over 100 people will be walking past it and looking at it, so great exposure.

Well, there were also no W123s coming along either until I found someone to drive my 280CE for me and talked another member into entering a couple of his W123s.

Anyone with a W140 in Brisbane? Free entry and I'll buy you a hamburger!

I can't believe that you're having trouble finding a W140 in Brissy - You could always put some feelers out on gumtree or facebook... although maybe finding one without fully sik rims and in concours condition is the tricky bit... :think:

There's 3 for sale in Brisbane- one is busy Sunday, ones phone is off or d/c and the other doesn't answer.

Dam I would have made the trip if I'd read this earlier I have what possibly may be, the very best one in the country, that's not bias that's what MB Melbourne had to say. I love the work shop jokes 160,000km and one blower motor failure is the only repair it's and done since new, these are amazing cars, hope you can get one.
