replacement speaker

Post by LX7750 » Tue 20 Dec, 2016 5:11 pm

Hello All,
I bought a CLK-280 2006 about a month ago and I am extremely happy with it but I have a couple of niggles. One is there is a broken cone in the speaker in the drivers door (im pretty sure) and wanted to replace it. I could do this myself as I have done full car stereo installs in non Mercedes-Benz's. I believe the speakers are Harmon Kardon and I wanted to know if there was a more "premium" option of speakers available from factory. I am happy with the system (I would like it a bit louder) but am looking at options. Should I just change it for an OEM speaker as I don't really want to put an "aftermarket" speaker in there?

I have the Audio 20 system and wanted to find out if I could easily replace it for the comand system.

Is there a bluetooth dongle that I can get to connect the audio 20 system and my samsung s7? If so, will it play the mp3's from my phone or will it just be for phone calls?

I also understand there is a headphone jack that you can get installed as I have checked and there is no jack in the glovebox. Is this an "easy" install?
