Bonnet Struts Not Working

Howdy everyone,

Just realised that my bonnet struts not working, they dont stay up when opened,

struggling to find replacements, am happy to go OEM, on a budget,
Autobarn cant find me any

Part number is pa 66g f30

Any mechan experts give me some pointers please

Your bonnet struts are unique to MB.
They allow the bonnet to go up 90 degrees.
MB models of all types are able to do this.

There are little locks in the struts to hold the bonnet up.
Someone may have damaged the little locks.

Best bet is a wrecker.

These generally never go wrong unless abused.

This is not the Part Number :laughing6:

PA 66 means polyamide (aka Nylon)
GF 30 means 30% Glass Fiber
