Rear end too low, spring spacers an option ?

Post by scraf » Fri 17 Nov, 2017 7:14 pm

Proud owner of a W114 ambulance here ( long chassis ), also former member of here but lost original inlog data. :dontknow:

Have a problem with the back end of the car being too low, have in the past replaced the back springs with the strongest that were available and decent shock absorbers.

Been looking all over the net at options, and looking for a cheap fix as opposed to going the " air ride " route.

Currently thinking of adding something resembling a donut to the top of the rear springs, they are available under the moniker " spring spacers ".

Any suggestions, remarks or questions are appreciated.
