An enjoyable show although less than an hour (including ads) cannot possibly do an event like this and the large number of entrants justice. You guys featured very briefly and it was nice to see extensive coverage of familiar cars and faces from the Classic Rally Club here in NSW. These same cars and faces also enter some of the classic rallies in this part of the world.

I counted 7 brief appearances

the shots they chose did seem unusual to me
Car must be popular to the editors as many others didn't even get a mention

As usual it focused on the trophy prostitutes and missed much of the entertaining stuff

anyway i have done my DVD and posted the stuff on Tubeface for those that are interested in the action

If you want more appearances you'll have to clean your driving up a little. Especially if you want to put in a "sub 8 minute lap of the nurburgring" as you mentioned.

A guy on PF put in an 8.58 in a Lotus 211 totally track prepped with slicks and that was after 3 days of solid lappage...

I think with your current driving style you'd struggle to put a sub 10minute lap in with the Chev Powered Merc.

Burnouts and loose steering are entertaining, but the Targa is about driving, which is what the TV showed.. The entrants that were in contention or won aren't trophy prostitutes, they've no doubt worked very very hard to be in the running, and i dare-say have many more years experience steering circuits than you, me and others combined.... though, maybe  would be in with a showing. Actually Greg, you've done plenty of classic / tarmac rally's too haven't you?
