Does anybody have any recommendations for tyres for M class? There are so many to choose from and quite disparate prices as well. Do you have any favourites which have good characteristics such as handling, braking and wear qualities?

I replaced my Conti SportContact 2 (OEM) today. I've clocked up 48,000 km's and could have got another 2,000-5,000 km's out of them but saw Conti SportContact 5 SUV MO on sale for $370 each so had a set put on. As my mechanic stated, if you got 48,000 km's out of them why look at another tyre. He also pointed out being "MO" (Mercedes Only) they are made for the car, another reason to stay with the ContiSportContact. The Conti dealer commented today, the 5 is so much better than the 2. I have to say I was impressed with the 2 so don't think I'll be disappointed with the 5.
