Cleaning Sheepskin Covers...

Post by will230 » Sat 11 Oct, 2008 9:28 pm

...So my new car has these sheepskin seat covers, they ar full sheepskin, custom-made, though they are in need of a wash I think. Dusty and a bit smelly, some parts have a little staining and discolouration..

What is the best way to clean these covers? Is there anything I should use in particular?

They are fully panels of sheepskin, not patchwork style ones, so I'd like to keep them in good condition, though they have left the cloth sets covered in white from the back of the sheepskin (not fabric covered underneath..)

cold water, very gentle cycle machine wash with Wool Wash, front loader if you can do it - come up a treat...
