600sel abs

Post by martinmslr »

Hi Folks
I am aware that gold lays where you find it but I have a question
Anyone know why the ABS light and the light on the left hand side of it may come on AND STAY on????????
dealers looked at it Loom has been replaced and still it comes and goes
Will swap goat and glass beads
for shared experience

The brake light switch may need to be replaced, or could be the wheel sensors are dirty.

I had this problem on my W140 when it was new.

Here are some symptoms

The front wheel abs sensors give problems when they are dirty or possibly may have bare wires on them.

Low battery - may need replacing

Brake switch.

You have changed the wiring loom so this should eliminate some problems.
