Standard wheels for 1999 E430 Avantgarde?

Post by Cream 280SE »

Can anybody show me what the standards wheels on the E430 1999 Avantgarde look like?

I have non standard merc wheels which came with the car and I’m sick of the harsh ride they provide!!

Thanks

have a look through this thread.
There's a white W210 a few posts down.
https://community.mercedes.me/en/forum/ ... s-question
The wheels on that car were an option mainly Avantgarde.
I have a set available.

These wheels were available for the E240's and E320's
Image
Less than flattering.

I had these W211 Yilduz wheels on my W202 and on the W210.
Image

I have just taken these Yilduz style wheels off my W211 and put these 17 inch wheels on
Image

The Yilduz wheels are going onto my nephews W202.
He currently has W210 Avant-garde wheels on the W202 - so they will be available with good tyres (If you are in Melbourne).

Thanks Ivan. Very helpful. The spare wheel in the boot has the following marking behind it...7 1/2 J x 16H2ET41.

How do I place photos on here for you to look at?

Either use a third party hosting service like Flickr.com

Or.... use your smartphone to take an image. Send it to your desktop using a lowish resolution.
Store your image in a handy location on your hard drive or in the pictures section of W10.

There's an attachment section down below the box you type your posting in.
Select attachment. This will allow you to go to your image stored location in desk top.
Find your image and select it - follow the prompts.
Place image in line.

Is your spare wheel and tyre a steelie?

I'm guessing that the offset on the wheels on the w202 are 37 - probably 41. I didn't take the wheels off to check.

Pity, you could have them including the tyres which are pretty reasonable for a couple of hundred bucks. The shipping will probably be too much.

Before you start looking around on line for those wheel bolts, check prices at the local stealership and go from there.
I once bought a set of OEM bolts at the local stealership which were far cheaper than the cheapest ebay made in PRC ones.

But of course depends on availability at the stealer
