Lights failure in tailgate

Post by Cowleystjames »

Further on from tailgate not latching automatically, third brake light, right brake light, right side reversing light and right side tailgate marker lights and tailgate shut button not working this morning.
Does a fuse control that area of tailgate our is it more likely to be wiring?
No faults stored when reading codes.

Sorry to hear. My suggestion would be to check the wiring between the boot lid and the car body. Along the lines of this video https://youtu.be/8RvrO2lqRVA

Car going back to dealer Monday for investigation. That video seems to sum up what I'm thinking. Many thanks

That was bang on, an earth cable had broken due to constant bending. Dealer replaced bad cable
