300TD Vacuum configuration

Post by Dweezil »

Hi Team,

Jurgen is a 1981 TD with a 722.118 trans. The notes that I took when I was disassembling got covered in oil, so I can't remember for the life of me where everything is supposed to reconnect. I've looked at online schematics, but there seem to be infinite variations between years, trans configurations, LHD/RHD etc, so if anyone can tell me which lines go into which bits it'd be hugely appreciated.

And yes, it looks like there's a split in that Y connector.

Thanks

Hi

There is a good article here

https://blog.fcpeuro.com/mercedes-w123- ... m-overview

But, it's for a 240D and my 300TD is different

However, it's a good read as a primer
Many Thanks

Michaelc
