Chrging the battery

Anyone know if it is OK to charge the battery using one of those wizz bang Cteck chargers while its still connected to the car?

You can buy a little solar panel and voltage regulator which can keep the battery floated at the correct voltage.

This is the point of buying a fancy charger, rather than a super cheap special as it can be hooked up for months without doing any damage. have a good read of the cTek website they give some good explanations as to how they work and why it is important to use this style of charger.

Go to Mercedes and get their charger; it's the same ctek, but it has the star on it. Some style IS mandatory :laughing6:

Or get a star from a Mercedes bonnet or grille and glue it to the ctek. Instant style!

Yes I noticed these the other day at the MB stealership, a few hours later I was picking some stuff up from the local auto electrical wholesaler and realised just how much those MB stickers they put on them must cost..... :think: :think: :think:
