Good M-B mechanic Brisbane

Post by DBW124 » Mon 02 Jul, 2018 2:55 pm

Hi

For the last 9 years I've been very happy with Tim at Prestige Automotive in Lilydale (Melbourne) servicing my '94 E280.

This week I'm relocating to Brisbane and looking for recommendations for a good (even great) M-B specialist in Brisbane (handy to Teneriffe would be a bonus).

Thanks

Adrian

Ron (Mercmad) in Rocklea. Not too far from you I don't think.

Look up his posts here and you'll understand his experience, method and knowledge.

IT Mechanical
The owner is a good friend of mine, they do everything from corollas to Lamborghini's and will get the correct OEM parts not random ryco etc crap.

I personally don't use a mechanic and do all my own stuff, but many of my friends use him and they are fantastic and prices are about as good you will get in Brisbane. I've seen them re-build a tone of euro engines and now are rebuilding VW DSG's as well all in house. Here is their website, check out their facebook page to, so you can see all the cars that go through his shop:

Thank you both.

The car is at the age and condition I should be doing most of it myself

We have a 2015 Mazda CX-5 and i do all my own maintenance for that too. 1 day after a car leaves warranty in my house it will never see a mechanic again :P
