Post by cjhols » Fri 04 May, 2018 11:45 am

Hi
Does anyone know of the resistance of the Rheostat/Potentiometer that dims the Instrument cluster on a 1973 SLC 450? O'H and has anyone replaced these with a modern 'Pot'???
Thanks
Peter

Hi Peter,
I haven't measured them, but they're the first stuff that goes wrong. I'd bridge it ... I never had a car where I used it, it's always on max ...
