motoring-related Aussie slang

Post by OzBenzHead » Thu 06 Oct, 2005 8:38 pm

I found a site http://www.artistwd.com/joyzine/australia/strine/ this evening whilst trawling through language sites; I thought I was fairly au fait with Oz slang, but the following is one I've never heard before. I have also posted it to my favourite language forum (the Apostrophe Protection Society!); it combines my love of language with my love of cars.

a bit more choke and you would have started - being a jocular statement to someone who has farted loudly in company.

Just had to share that.
