I am unsure if this is where I place a question but here goes anyway. I have a W169 and want to put a bike rack on it. The ones I have found for this specific model seem to be thousands of dollars. Is there any cheaper way to carry 2 -3 bikes? They fit in the boot but when doing mountain bike trails there is a lot of mud and taking the front wheel off everytime is very frustrating. I hope someone has an answer out there. The only site that had a good solution was Bert in the UK!

If your vehicle has a tow bar, there are bike racks which attach under the tow ball. I have seen these with 2 - 4 bikes on them.
I don't have a clue on a price for these and if you don't have a tow bar, it won't help you.

Regards,

Tony
