You noticed.
Alas, the local Benz Club is not a very youthful bunch. Being on several different kinds of medication is pretty-much a mandatory requirement for membership.

We would like to get a much more even age distribution, and more females, so if you have any ideas how we can attract women in the 18 to 21 year age bracket let us know and I will pass your suggestions onto the committee at our next gathering.

The young bloke in the red hoody was 11 from memory (l/h side of picture), so I would most likely draw the line at 10.... :laughing5: :laughing6: :laughing5:

The Würth calendars are better (and for some reason all in Chris's office).

Worth a look I would think. Might have to get one and pencil in a few dates to remember.

How many times do you have to knock before Chris answers the door?

There's not enough room for all the calendars. Chris needs more hanging space :laughing6:

A great night. Free food and drink, good talk, and a quiz involving some pretty bizarre questions, such as:

"What is option number 481?"

and

"Who is Murray currently in love with?" (hint: She is long dead, but was very good looking, and the last thing she did was drive down a mountain.)

Got to see a lot of "interesting" calendars.

JG tries to sell us some random parts:

He didn't say anything about how it wouldn't have happened if the EVOsrule's 500 sedan wasn't pillaged for all it's unique parts, did he?

He did mention that if we wanted this done we had to give him 2 cars, but I don't think one of these was EVOsrule's. This, by the way, is a particularly silly name for anybody, and unforgivable for someone who works at MB Spares.

Unless of course he is the owner of one of these...

Hello, on the 2nd of January and small milestone passed without us even noticing it. It was the 20th anniversary of the opening of MB Spares. We were busy like usual and only realised a few months later! (For much the same reason as we haven't been sending out the Newsletters) So it is time to do something about this milestone.

Every year we have held an event for the local ACT Mercedes-Benz club. Which for the last ten years has become known as "Spanners & Sausages", and to use the club Presidents words "it is one of the highlights of the clubs calendar". The basic format is that after work on the second Tuesday of November we enjoy some refreshing drinks and gourmet sausages. This is followed by a tour of our facilities and a presentation. To get an idea of what these events are like you can find pictures from last years event here. https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set ... 486&type=3 The event draws club members from as far away as Sydney and beyond.

So, this year you are all invited to attend and celebrate 20 years of MB Spares and 20 years of Spanners & Sausages. It is to be held on the 11thof November, starting off at 6pm. We are normally done by 9-9:30pm. We will need to get some ideas on numbers so if you are a club member there is no need to RSVP. If you are not you can RSVP any time up until the 5pm on the 10thof November by e-mail to john@mbspares.com.au

The event is also listed on ourFacebook page, so if you wish you can RSVP there.

https://www.facebook.com/events/675322159220634/

As for the newsletters, stay tuned for another announcement on those.
