New freight rates for M.B Spares

Post by John Green » Sun 11 Sep, 2011 9:51 pm

Hello all, for some time we have been unhappy with the costs we have been paying for freight and have spent some time looking at our options. For us freight companies need to not only offer a decent price, but an decent service and be able to respond when it all goes pear shape. We have been with Ipec for many years and have in the last two weeks slowly phased in our new delivery system with Startrack Express.

Here are the new rates:

1kg air bag $10.00
3kg air bag $13.50
5kg air bag $18.50

This is a great saving as the old system was $18.50 for the 3kg bag and there was no option of a 1kg bag. Similar savings will also be experienced for customers with larger orders that need to be sent road freight. Not only that but we can now send you e-mail alerts with the consignment tracking numbers and other details.

Excellent work. On behalf of those of us who are, er, unfortunate enough not to live in the Centre of the Known Universe, we appreciate the effort.
