OK I now need to find out what A/C was used on the 450SEL as mine is missing and while I have the bracket it doesn't help me and going by the bracket it looks to fit on the right hand side under the alternator maybe? Also on the inner left fender there is a unit with the letter E on it and a hose going to the back of the motor and a flat plug attached to it.
Also on the left side there are 2 A/C hoses that were attached to a strange pipe setup that was ripped out while removing the motor by a workshop doing some work to it.
I can't find any pictures of that area to maybe help me work it out.
Also has anyone have a spare working elec. aerial they could sell to me as the existing on is totally kaput and I have no access to wreckers here.
I would really like to find a useful manual even a Haynes version would be of use at the moment. :banghead:
