Pelican parts

Post by Jrhendo » Thu 10 May, 2018 9:18 pm

I'm sure a lot of you have used Pelican Parts out of the US. For those who haven't, I've used them before for Porsche bits, but never for MB parts. I put in an order a week ago for some parts for my new-to-me 450SLC. Priced well and I got them today - in Bathurst. Pretty good service. Freight isn't cheap, so go for as much as you can below the GST limit.

Anyone know where I can get a boot/trunk seal? Pelican didn't seem to have one.

I’m guessing you’ve tried the forum sponsor? If no luck there, speak to Kevin at McStar Parts in Sydney https://www.mcstarparts.com/contact-form or John at MB Classic Star in Sydney I’m in NZ and found them both really helpful

Cheers

Jason, I am surprised that you have not heard that MB Spares have ceased operating their spare parts division. They are concentrating on their maintenance and restoration activities.
