Hi, I have a 1971 350sl R107 and I have installed an original Becker radio cassette with two front speakers as original of the period. I don't think the SL's came originally fitted with rear speakers unlike the SLC's so my question is did the SL's have a speaker fader switch to adjust left to right volume balance instead or not. I am aware that in the SLC's and 4 door Mercedes of that time used the fader switch to control the balance between front to rear speakers.
Any ideas, Thanks Chris

Re: re: Becker speaker fader switch
I don't think i have ever seen a l/r balance as a separate thing. So my guess is no. Someone has put rears into mine on the rear panel so that's a bit of a shame - quite old though so at least they look a bit period. I guess that is part of its history.
