Not sure if anyone will see this post as it late but this could be a something worth a bid. Looks rough but looks to be an oz delivered 450slc. Reserve met but ends soon no vin listed

The problem is you know you are facing 5-10k for paint assuming not much rust before you look for other problems. The rest is a mystery. If they were serious you would expect a lot more photos like interior etc. Working back the other way you can add up the likely to sell parts to work out your worst case scenario but would want to hear it run. Alternatively if it had good paint you could see, you could work around cost to replace mechanicals with good used items and the equation to final car might look a little better.

Yeah always a risk...as I know all too well with The SEC of the same origin. This at least has keys and possibly paperwork! As an estate item likely that there is more known about the car than on the auction. The guys at E&C have always been very helpful and if you ask they will let you know...especially if it runs and they think it wil net more $$$$. Price is getting a little high for a parts car I suppose.
