I am looking for an original steering wheel for my '73

Post by berntd » Wed 05 Oct, 2016 12:58 pm

Hello friends

If anyone is or knows of someone wrecking a SL, I would be interested in the complete steering wheel. I do not like the aftermarket wheel on mine.

I am also interested in 4 mercedes alloy rims (Bundt)

Best regards
Bernt

Berndt, where are you located (state / area?) please fill in your location in the user control panel so people closeby can help, or you can gauge freight costs.

insofar as steering wheel, I would hesitate to say, but likely very rare. It's the early small spline wheel.

May I also suggest that you look at a W114 wheel as an option.

They are very similar and if you have an aftermarket wheel it would provide an option.

I've seen W114 wheels sold as W107 at twice the price.

Yes, I do have one and it is in pretty good shape. It doesn't have the horn pad on it, but I may have put that elsewhere. Part number is 116 460 00 03 if you want to check it out.
