Awesome job, love the detailing. Yellow Chromated zinc plating, satin black.... :notworthy:
What did you do to the alu cooling fan? Looks almost like plastic...

And the brake fluid container looks like new, any tricks on that?

Thanks for comment, the brake reservoir is a OEM new one, and I am still waiting for a new repro washer bottle to match it coming in from the States.

The fan as far as I know was the original four blade nylon fan with the car! I have seen six bladed nylon in the 250SL and also aluminium? or painted ones on later Pagodas. The Brian Long reference book "Mercedes Benz SL W113 Series 1963 to 1971" has a photo of the 230SL with the nylon four blade. There were so many changes who knows.

Actually had the engine running today. First time I had seen it going. Another two weeks to go to finish. WoooHooo
