W113 guards

Post by CraigB » Fri 02 Sep, 2011 10:29 pm

There is a seller on ebay at the moment selling a range of bits eg. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayI ... 500wt_1182

I emailed him to say I thought the bits of wood looked like W113 to me, he emailed back for advice on best way to freight a pair of guards, which made me think of the "sad tale" post but I see those bits have been found. Anyway, on the off chance someone needed some thought I would pass it on. And if anyone knows best freight options from US for big bits that could be interesting for future ref and also this guy.

Craig,I just phone UPS,DHL and others ( there are few online) for the best price. Pack them in cardboard and bubble wrap and they will be there in a couple of days. Around $180 average cost. I have sent W126 guards to pommy land because we have rust free goodies and they dont.
