Wanted! Auxiliary Air Slider Options

Post by mrsecman » Wed 13 Sep, 2017 11:49 pm

Hi All. As per another post update, had the fuel accumulator replaced today to rectify slow hot start issues. Works well but has exposed another issue (not significant by any means) around the AAS so to speak. Apparently with age, the slider can get a little stuck/slow to respond which can affect the idle increase at hot start (a slight pedal press helps resolve and evens out the idle vey quickly), but can also affect idle differences when compressor is engaged and engine hot.

New replacements are in the order of $1500.00 I'm told. S/H working part is rare and has obvious risks. Anyone have any working spares or know a source for a GOOD reliable aftermarket option?
