Looks like I'm the first, this month, to say something on the W126 forum
It’s also the first month anniversary of my, ‘Looks like I'm the first, this year, to say something on the W126 forum’ post. So, twice the reason to celebrate.

Let's face it, we W126 owners are shy little wallflowers who don't like to boast about how good the W126 series is. We let the cars do the "talking" for us!
So we don't need to jump on our Forum section to blab on each month. Hee Hee!
I have a neighbour who recently bought a Ford Territory SUV. Everytime I see him he goes on about how good his Territory is and the fact it has every option known to Mankind in it blah blah blah!
I just sit there with cheese in my ears until this Territory Nutter runs out of puff and stops talking. I call his car God's SUV. Apart from being a Territory Nutter, he's a nice guy.
So Mr Omar, you and I can be smug knowing that we are driving the best classic car on the road!
Cheers,
Kim

Kim,
just out of interest ... can you post a photo of YOUR W126 shrine?

I totally agree with you Kim. But, a little literal laxative every now and then, to get things moving, doesn't hurt.

Oh Mr Thomas, I wish I could.....but I'm flat chat sculpting a nice piece of marble of W126 God, Bruno Sacco, to go in the front garden so that we humble W126 owners, may pay homage!

Next time I'm in Sydney, I will come by your house and pay respect
Thomas
P. S.: Just thinking back to the 80s ... my father had a W124 300E ... 230km/h fast. As he was waiting for the W140 to come out in 1991, he bridged the gap by leasing a W126 300SE ... I was so disappointed, because it only ran 205km/h, so slow
... forgive me, I was young ... which I am still, because I'm 18 with 35 years of experience!
