Hi all,
Wondering if anyone has any experience installing child seats in an s124? No bolt holes in rear of seat and nothing in load floor between the 2nd and 3rd rows.
Any advice greatly appreciated!
Thanks,
Gabe

I guess legally there must be something. Can't remember any in my 300te though. John Green must know the answer when he sees this.

Hi Gabe,
afaik there was nothing for the S124; I ordered one in 1993 and it was not available as I would have ordered it. You put the child seat on the seat and the seat/child is held by the seat belt.
With the S210 they introduced little raisable seats for the rear bench, that could be lowered into the seat bench if not needed, very practible. I ordered those in 1999 and they worked well for kids > 3 or 4 years old.
Regards
Thomas

I didn't dispose of them, I still have them ... however in 1993 they were 2 and 4 years old.

Although I felt occasionally like it at the time, I resisted disposing of my kids too.
The result is more joyous.

Gabe, thinking about this after you left, it has to be those three holes int he floor, whatever is in there is at a guess not the correct threaded plastic plug that you would normally see. If you can't work it out, call back past and I will have a go at getting where ever that is out.

Thanks John - A weird little fishing trip into those positions found some strange threads, inside other strange threads. I can’t seem to find any logic as they seemed so undersized. I’ll call by later in the week! Much appreciated.John Green wrote: ↑Sun 11 Sep, 2022 7:45 amGabe, thinking about this after you left, it has to be those three holes int he floor, whatever is in there is at a guess not the correct threaded plastic plug that you would normally see.
