M103 in W123

Post by tsharkey »

Would an M103 L6 + Transmission (from say a W126 300SE) fit in a W123. There is that red 230TE that has a seized engine in Ballarat (I can't keep track of who ruins what business up there). It will be difficult to find an M102 with SLS fitting but an M103 and the combo steering / sls pump would be a good option (and would give the ol wagon a bit of perk). Someone I know (definitely not me !) is considering it.
